Grace Baptist Church is a church where people very quickly feel like family. And just like any good family, we enjoy special guests when they come to visit. We want to share with you what the Lord is doing in our lives and what we believe He can do in yours as well through the truths of His word, the Bible.
We know visiting a new church can be an experience that brings a bit of anxiety. We've all been there. Will they be friendly? Will I know where to drop the kids off? What if I wear the wrong thing? There are so many questions. Here are some questions and answers that may be of help. If you still have questions or need a ride, please get in touch with us by contacting us.

What do you offer for services and what times?
Grace Baptist Church offers a number of opportunities for worship and study on Sundays. Our Sundays begin with Sunday School at 9:30 am. Sunday School offers many options for study and training in the Christian life experience. Many helpful studies are presented, giving Bible answers to many of life’s persistent questions. Following the Sunday School session, we have a half-hour fellowship time from 10:15 – 10:45 am, complete with coffee and pastry-style refreshments. Our morning worship service begins at 10:45 am. We are done with the service no later than 12:15. On Wednesday evenings, adult prayer service and Kids' Club all begin at 6:30 pm.
What should I expect?
What can you expect when you visit a Grace Baptist Church service? During our morning worship service, our congregation is led in singing songs that teach us about the Christian life. Our services also incorporate a short time of quiet personal prayer. The primary element of our worship services involves a carefully prepared sermon by our pastor and teacher. The preaching method you'll benefit from involves teaching that is rooted in the text of the Bible. Messages are intended to encourage our members in their walk with God. Messages give special attention to our human weakness and to the power of God for victorious, holy, Christian living.
What should I wear?
At Grace Baptist Church, we are most concerned about the condition of the heart. External appearance, though important, is not our primary concern. At Grace, we seek to maintain an atmosphere that helps us to focus on Jesus Christ. As a Grace Baptist Church visitor, you will probably be most comfortable dressed in what may be called “business casual” but it is also common to find folks in jeans and t-shirts too. Don't worry about what you wear. We won't. We'll just be glad you came to join us.
Will I be asked to do anything?
Please be at ease! We will not ask you to participate in any of our service functions with which you are uncomfortable. One of our church staff members will recognize our “first-time” visitors at the beginning of our service, but we will not obligate you to participate in any of our regular worship. Our only desire is that you are free to observe first-hand what lies at the heart of our faith.
What about kids?
Children have their own Sunday School hour and their own church service with qualified teachers whom have passed a background check. As a visitor, feel free to have them join the kids rooms or you may bring them into the main service with you. Every first Sunday of the month, children 5 and older join the adults in the main service in order to learn how the adults worship the Lord.
